About the event
3D ART GALLERY presents Moner Kotha: A Tribute to Mostafa Monwar.
"Moner Kotha" is a two-day tribute to Mostafa Monwar, the puppeteer behind Bangladesh Television's beloved children's show of the same name, and the artist who brought puppetry to life for an entire generation. On September 4–5, 2026, 3D Art Gallery and its open-air stage, Mukto Mancha, come together for a celebration that bridges nostalgia and discovery: a hands-on puppet-making workshop led by S.M. Rup, an afternoon of poetry (Kobitar Ashor), a live puppet show by Kaaktarua Puppet Theater , an art and biography exhibition on Mostafa Monwar's life and work, and a night of live music.
Whether you grew up watching Moner Kotha on BTV or are discovering it for the first time, this is a chance to step into the world Mostafa Monwar built — and see it come alive again.

Each ticket admits one person and must be presented with the valid QR code/barcode at entry. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, except in case of event cancellation. Valid ID may be requested for verification. Workshop Pass holders must attend both workshop sessions; partial attendance is not eligible for a refund.
On the day
Please arrive within the designated entry time for your ticket. Outside food and beverages are not permitted; refreshments are available at the official food stall. Attendees must follow venue and organizer instructions at all times. The organizer reserves the right to refuse entry or remove disruptive attendees. Event schedules and performer lineups may change if necessary.
Media & Giving
Photography and videography may take place during the event for promotional purposes. By attending, guests consent to being photographed or filmed. Attendees are encouraged to respect the artwork, exhibits, performers, and fellow guests.
Organizer
The organizer reserves the right to modify event arrangements when necessary. In case of cancellation, ticket holders will be offered a full refund or entry to a rescheduled date, where applicable. For postponements beyond the organizer's control, existing tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date.

Located inside the Bangabandhu Military Museum at Bijoy Sarani, Dhaka, the venue features over 70 immersive, large-scale 3D paintings. Visitors can pose inside the artwork to make flat wall and floor canvases appear realistically three-dimensional in camera.
